Factory Direct, established in 1991 right here in Indianapolis, originally consisted of several installation crews who provided AAMA certified factory direct installation for several window companies exclusively through the manufacturers. Because we could work directly with our customers and go over the final project, we developed our knowledge of what customers truly desired in a great home improvement company.

In the mid 90’s Factory Direct decided to offer their services to the public. We found that customers wanted to be helped, not sold, so we focused on educating customers, we brought new ideas and listened to what customers wanted…OPTIONS. With the top manufacturers in America to choose from, customers have enjoyed the one-stop-shop. We go into every home asking ourselves, “How we can be of help to improve each home?” and “How can we bring beauty and energy efficiency to all projects that will last for the next 30 to 40 years?”

Factory Direct has eight crews. Our windows and door installers only install windows and doors, and of course, our siding installers only install siding. Here at Factory Direct in Indianapolis, each installer has a minimum of 15 years of experience; most of our installers have over 30 years of experience. This kind of expertise and craftsmanship makes all the difference in the world.

Our installers are the backbone of this company. Therefore we believe installers should always be well taken care of and be compensated very well…After all, they are the ones taking the extra time and effort to complete every project.
